those places have been a "highway" for migrations (Mongols, Turcomans, Persians). You can't just take a DNA sample and find a "hidden Jewish village" from 900 AD.
Also i doubt these people went those villages and find some old grandma and pa (because young people mostly lived west turkey to find job) to get their DNA. I am from those regions, we have 1000s year old mosques and some old churches, but nothing jew. You can find armenian, persian, russian language traits in local turkish spoken language but not a single hebrew or german traits.
Note-1: some jews did go to hkazarian empire (poland, eastern russia) but this happens during ottoman era where the eastern turkey is part of ottoman empire.
