US Foreign Policy since the fall of the Soviet Union has been a self fulfilling prophecy. Always in search of an enemy to fight because it has to justify its bloated militaries existence, perpetually pretending its 1945 with confidence games, projection, and special pleading.

Tommy's avatar

Who has been running US foreign policy since the end of ww2?

Payload's avatar

A certain organized ethnic group to an increasing degree.

Nonsense is not an argument 😎

Tommy's avatar

No shit. It's such a dumb idea that it's not worth an argument but mocking instead. Are you jewish cause the only people playing dumb to who is responsible are jews. Who made up the major of neocons?

Paul Dixon's avatar

Are you Jewish is not an argument but deflection-/ please 🙏 outline your argument if possible in a coherent way

Silver spooned WASPs from Maryland & North Virginia can barely drive a car let alone run a country.

You sound jewish

They don’t run the country

They work in DC and that’s close enough.

The comments from Rubio are the worst. He didn't even try to hide the fact that the US acted as Israel's attack dog.

Michael Springate's avatar

Why should he hide it? It’s not as if the public doesn’t know that this is a war for Israel.

The Kurgan's avatar

Why the worst? It’s the closest thing to a resemblance of truth the USA has said in decades.

Tucker thinks those were deliberate comments ...

Never attribute actions to stupidity or corruption those that can be attributed to the furthering of Jewish interests

The humiliation will only grow deeper until our once-good nation is reduced to a global pariah for the next 250 years.

The people of the USA will be paying for this in life and death for centuries.

"they [Shitkoff & Jarhead] actively misled Trump to lead to war with Iran on Israel’s behalf." - that's all there is to it.

Panjandrum's avatar

Many are cottoning onto the same vibe

Great article and well-researched. I'm hoping for a humiliating retreat. The spinelessness of most Europeans on this is amazing. The Spanish are way ahead of the rest in opposing this war.

Tommy's avatar

Why does this have anything to do with Europe or Europeans? It's a wholly jewish war

By now it should be pretty clear that the US, in and of itself, has no plan whatsoever. Israel however does have a plan: the complete dismantlement of Iran, which at this point can only happen through a ground invasion by the US.

And so, the best way to get that is to make sure the US has no other option but ground invasion. So far, Israel has been extremely successful at that.

Let's hope Trump, or whoever is actually in charge, will relent and prefer a humiliating defeat to the alternative.

Scott's avatar

I am increasingly surprised that people think dismantling and destroying military assets can be done in 12 days. This still has a long runway to play out.

Tommy's avatar

I'm surprised anyone believed that

This is just complete cope, Keith. You are taking things out of proportion. Iran has started laying mines now, instead at the beginning of the war for some reason, and has maybe laid a dozen mines by now, a dozen. They will never get close to a thousand. The damage Iran has done to US bases is minimal, and it seems like they are more interested in miscellaneous targets like embassies and Dubai skyscrapers now. Iran is spent and is lashing out haphazardly, it is Hezbollah who is doing considerably more damage to Israel. You also exaggerate the US' economic consequences, the US is the biggest oil and natural gas producer and one of the largest exporters in both in the world. Plus, oil reserves can cover the world for many months. As always the biggest losers are us Europeans though.

Frankly I see the long term plan as removing geopolitical enemies from the board while the central antagonist to US foreign policy is tied up in a forever war in Ukraine. Venezuela, Iran, Cuba coming up at some point, none of these nations will be getting any help from the Russians whatsoever so long as Russia is either unable or unwilling to decisively end their war.

Whether that plan has been well executed or not is another question entirely.

Witkoff and Kushner, to no surprise, were never there to negotiate, they want to use America for their ethnic conflict in the Middle East. As long as we don't realize that DC is not part of America, and that they share their allegiance to another country, we won't get anywhere-thankfully it seems Zoomers are waking up to this.

As one former supreme allied commander of Europe said: "The idea of assassinating the Ayatollah Khamenei - who was not just Iran's head of state, but he was the religious symbol for Shiites worldwide - assassinating him during the month of Ramadan, frankly, is about as subtle as murdering the Pope on the steps of St. Peter's in Holy Week."

The US also bombed a school with a tomahawk missile and killed kids, for which there was a national funeral in Iran. This is going to lead to martyrs on US soil committing acts of terrorism.

Dante Allegheny's avatar

The US brought a gun to a knife fight. Unfortunately, it was a drone fight. A totally unnecessary one.

Tommy's avatar

That was Israels intention. They had no desire to win anything

Keith's avatar

So if Trump says America has won the war, then that is solid proof that they've won it, right?

Scott's avatar

Trump is always full of Truthiness

Keith's avatar

My dislike of Trump pales into insignificance next to my loathing of the Left, so I tend to forgive him his vices, his lying, his bragging and his poor judgement. Even if the world goes up in flames because of what might turn out to be a misadventure in Iran, I still won't hate him as much as I do, say, Keir Starmer and his kind.

Scott's avatar

I have no tolerance for the left either. Trump is lucky to have such punchable enemies. Or, he is very good at seeking out punchable enemies …

Christopher's avatar

I just fucking despised the loathsome vile creatures that wear human skin suits that the Kíkes are and I pray for their immediate extermination as quickly as possible

Feel better now? Thanks for your intelligent contribution.

The US has completely lost control of the situation: Iran is now in the driving seat. The Straits are "closed", yet Iran is actually exporting more oil than before the attack. Admittedly that is not a huge amount (approx. 1.2 MBPD).

The Iranian plan is now becoming clear: Keep the Straits selectively closed. Make sure US bases in the region cannot be reopened. Attack Israel at a low but consistent level below their nuclear retaliation threshold. Jews are fleeing Israel, the Israeli economy is collapsing. Iran can keep this going for months, even years if necessary.

Trump is finished politically: The midterms are going to be a rout. Democrats may gain 100 seats in the house and take control of the Senate. No wonder Vance is angry.

wzygamers's avatar

They could back out today, say they're sorry and send flowers and it wouldn't change anything. The damage to the country and the whole Trump coalition is catastrophic and irreversible. Only question now is how brutal the retaliation is going to be after the midterms. We are fucked.
